On March 15, 2026, an extended Executive Committee meeting of the RPF Inkotanyi was held in Kabuye Cell, bringing together the party’s leaders and influential community members from the area. The meeting aimed to exchange ideas on various issues related to accelerating the implementation of the Party’s Manifesto.
The main presentation was delivered by the Chairman of RPF Inkotanyi in Kabuye Cell, Emmanuel Mazimpaka, who highlighted the role of party members in supporting development programs and continuing to implement the party’s resolutions and objectives.
During the meeting, members also carried out activities aimed at supporting vulnerable people in order to improve the welfare of citizens. Eight students studying in Nine Years Basic Education (9YBE) secondary schools had their full-year school fees paid and were also provided with school materials to help them continue their studies in better conditions.
Joseph Nshimiyimana, a student at GS Jabana (Groupe Scolaire Jabana), expressed gratitude for the support he received, saying:
“I would like to thank RPF Inkotanyi for paying my school fees for the whole year. Studying was difficult for me; I used to mix my notes in notebooks because I did not have enough school materials.”
Additionally, 25 street vendors were supported by having commercial spaces rented for them for a period of two months. This initiative aims to help them start their businesses in a more formal setting that can support their economic growth.
Rosalie Mukarenzaho, a resident of Amakawa Village who used to sell fruits in the streets, expressed her appreciation:
“The kind of business we used to do exposed us to many challenges such as strong sunlight, fruits getting spoiled, and difficulties during rainy weather. We are very happy that RPF thought about us and rented a place for us to work from.”
Furthermore, six vulnerable families received food assistance to support their daily living. Overall, the support provided to vulnerable residents during this activity was valued at approximately 900,000 Rwandan Francs.
Laurent Ndayisabye, a resident of Amasangano Village in Kabuye Cell, who received food and hygiene materials, also expressed his gratitude:
“I am very happy that the leadership of RPF thought about me as a vulnerable person. We appreciate their advice and support.”
The event also included the swearing-in of ten new members who officially joined RPF Inkotanyi, committing themselves to support the party’s programs and contribute to the country’s development.
The guest of honor at the event was Theodore Dukuzimana, the Chairman of RPF Inkotanyi at the Jabana Sector level, who thanked members for their active participation in development activities and their efforts to support vulnerable people.
The program concluded with a friendly gathering among members who celebrated the achievements and reaffirmed their commitment to continue working towards improving the welfare of citizens while strengthening unity and sustainable development.
According to Emmanuel Mazimpaka, the entire activity cost 2,300,000 Rwandan Francs to be successfully carried out.
